Ludovi-Rodo Pissarro

Ludovic-Rodo Pissaro was born in Paris, France in 1878 and died in 1952. As a son of Camille Pissaro, a master of impressionism during his time, Ludovic started studying art with his father at a young age. Early on he began painting nature and moved on to creating more pieces with the use of oil, tempera, watercolor, gouache, as well as wood engravings, drawings and lithographs. Eventually moving to London, Ludovic formed Le Groupe Monarro with his brothers Manzana and Lucien. The goal of this group was to exhibit a new generation of impressionist inspired artists.
